Audit & Assurance
Audit and other Assurance Services represent around 25% of what we do, which is a high percentage of fees for a firm of our size, but we have a strong and experienced team under our two senior statutory auditors capable of delivering audit and other assurance services to a wide range of entities in the owner-managed business sector.
Our audit work for limited companies, pension schemes and charities are usually conducted under International Standards on Auditing. The scope of our work also extends to Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and other Client Money audits.
Summary Regulatory Information
We are registered to carry on audit work in the UK by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (”ICAEW”).
Audit work is regulated. The Audit Regulations and Guidance can be found at audit-regulations-and-guidance-effective-from-1-january-2020.ashx (icaew.com) International Standards on Auditing (UK & Ireland) and APB Ethical Standards can be found at www.frc.org.uk.
Other Assurance
In addition to audits under International Standards on Auditing our other assurance services include:
- Limited Assurance Reports (ISAE 3000)
- Agreed Upon Procedures (ISRS 4400)
- Review Engagements (ISRE 2400)
- Independent Examinations (Charities – CC32)
But we are open to assignments under other assurance standards.
